Pasteleria Roggendorf - Santiago

An excellent pastry shop that should be better known to my taste. I met her many years ago when she lived in Concepción and we were hallucinating with the love cake. We arrived in Santiago and for years we had no idea that the store existed here. When we found out we went to eat immediately from his delights. What will never fail is the love cake and the strudel. Go and be surprised!!

The tradition and the 'old school' are the unmistakable seal of this pastry that offers its sweet products for more than 50 years, when it was founded by a German immigrant of the family of pastry. This place that opened in 1999, is the perfect place for a good coffee (which prepare without mistakes) or tea, giving effortlessly to some of its temptations in the form of cakes, slices of cake and other delicacies. The attention is first and although its prices are not very moderate, one ends up returning over and over. Traditions at last.

I love apfelstrudel with vanilla ice cream! The rich donut cakes! It's good to go on the weekend to have a coffee and stroll around the counts!

From Germany with love, Don Hugo Roggendorf arrives in southern Chile to Concepción specifically to look for new horizons for the pastry that he learns in his homeland. With its shop here in Santiago Inagurada in 1999, it has been offering 62 years since it was its arrival in the country in the south, products that show for its quality and excellence. Acknowledging the efforts of a family business that provides work to about 50 workers, I am pleased to know this place and its history, its flavors and delights. Tortas, chocolates, cookies, cakes and countless products that delight the view and palate. I was surprised by the beauty of her cakes and asked for a chocolate that I called my attention and told me it was a chocolate cake filled with raspberry the person who held me, so I told her I wore it. Very good and a chocolate quequito, the only detail I noticed is freshness, there are produces that had in vitrina and even things that I carry that were not exactly fresh but good the most good.

I especially recommend the cakes for diabetics, delicious!!! Every time I get through because my mom loves it, it's very hard to find good diabetic pastry.
