Casa Del Mar - Santa Rosa

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And the bar is as popular.

Absolutely beautiful. We want to come to Casa del Mar since we happen to be over a day. Today was the day and we were impressed! Our waitress was brilliant and took time to chat with us and with the little Ruffian. To make it from the food is amazing and the place is family owned and we love it. We'll be back.

Started with amazing Tamarindo margarita and mango margarita. I had one of the best Mol Enchiladas I've ever had, and the Tomatillo pig was boiled right. Her flan was the perfect end of one of the best Mexican meals I ever had.

Absolutely fantastic food! All just puffed with taste! The free chips and salsa/beans were excellent. The homemade salsa has a unique taste that has blown me away. I had the cattle with rice and beans and drove them off with the churros. The tacos were delicious and the sides were very well done. The Guacamole was fantastic! The Churros were sweet and tasty and simply delicious! The only reasons I have not given are a five star rating: The Taco plate was $18 and included only two small tacos. Would you? ve very preferably a third taco and maybe half the amount of rice and beans at this price. The cost of my meal, for a person for lunch, were about $50 plus tip. I had a beer, no appetizers, the Taco plate and the Churros. That's intense. Delicious, but expensive. It's a delicate balance. I will definitely be back, but not as often as I would otherwise be for the big blow to the wallet.

We found this gem en route to another location not too far and decided to get a quick bite to eat . That turned into a full course feast including libations... oh the joy!
