Read the bad reviews first. I made the mistake of reading the positive ones. The reviews below 3 stars are spot on accurate and show the lack of care, and honestly, no cares given responses by owner. The hours of operation and days open are never consistent. Very expensive. The food is good, and the portions are small. It is a very posh atmosphere. If you plan on coming here, call ahead to be sure they are open. limited seating and chairs were not comfortable. The owner has a great attitude, but some staff attentiveness is meh, and it could be better. The staff servers seem put out and like it was a major chore to keep the drinks full.
Despite our lack of reservation and informal attire, the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us. The wait staff treated us with exceptional service, and the food was clearly prepared with care and from scratch. Although we were too hungry to take pictures, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the osso buco and our friends were pleased with the lasagna. I managed to sneak a taste of the lasagna, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I opted for the grouper, which was delicious, but in comparison to the other dishes, it wasn't the standout. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, but be sure to make reservations and be aware that it has a somewhat formal atmosphere.
Their menu, food preparation, ambiance, and service are on par with the best Italian restaurants in New York City! The vegetarian options are top-notch, with high-quality ingredients and preparation. The service is excellent, making it a great choice for a dinner meal. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50.
We had the best little experience at this hidden gem in Sand Springs. The exterior may be unassuming, but once inside, we were treated like royalty. The pianist playing Billy Joel and The Godfather theme added to the ambiance. Despite not having reservations, we were seated promptly by a waitress named Mac who was knowledgeable and attentive. She recommended a delicious Cab Sauv to pair with our Antipasto Classico appetizer. For main dishes, we enjoyed the Ossobuco con Pappardelle and Branzino al Forno, both cooked to perfection. The hosts/owners made us feel like family throughout the meal. A chilled Limoncello capped off the night perfectly, and the tiramisu was a decadent ending. We can't wait to return and thank Candy, Walter, Mac, and the rest of the staff for a wonderful dining experience.
