Reserver

Bidrage med feedbackI set up Mother's Day reservations for 2:15, on Sunday, on OpenTable, the process was great. According to OpenTable I had a 24 hour cancellation period, meaning I had to cancel the reservations the day before the reservation or I would be charged $50 per person I had reservations for 4). Our Mother's Day plans changed and I called on Saturday late morning, early afternoon to cancel the reservation. The girl that answered thanked me for calling and that she would cancel the reservation she sounded busy at the time). I then called Sunday morning to confirm the cancellation, again the girl I spoke with sounded busy. She just said thank you for calling and got off the phone. The next day I was charged a $200 no-show fee. I called later that day multiple times, and left multiple voicemails, with no return call I figured the times and days open on Google were incorrect). I then called multiple times on Tuesday and finally got ahold of someone that said a Manager would call me back within an hour. They did not. Called times more during the next 2 days, left an other VM or two, again no response and no callbacks. Finally got ahold of someone again today, Friday. I was again told that I would receive a callback from a manager. A bit later I receive a phone call and after explaining everything, the gentlemen said that nothing could be done. I explained my frustrations, likely a little rudely, and was told that if I felt the way I did, I should dispute the charge with my bank. I explained that I would prefer to resolve this without disputing the charge, he then told me that he would ask the GM to call me sometime on Monday. The entire experience has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth. Apparently, it's my fault for not ensuring the girl answering the phone canceled the reservation on Sat. Horrible Customer service and frankly cost me $200.
Fantastic meal in all respects. I had the Ciopino with the pasta option and it was awesome! My wife had the Burundi which she really liked as well and we split the calamari salad, also delicious. Our server was excellent. I think they may have been a bit short handed on wait staff, it took a bit longer than usual but it wasn't a problem, we were with friends and weren't in a hurry. It was also Mother's day, so maybe that had an impact as well.
We went on Mother's Day, so the menu may be different normally. The food was delicious and beautiful. I loved the open and bright atmosphere. The one complaint was that the service was slow and they never brought the bread we ordered. Overall, though, I enjoyed our experience
Lunch menu needs more variety. Honestly a little disappointing. From a New Orleanian when you put a shrimp poor boy on the menu the bread is a must. In this case the bread was the wrong kind of deal breaker.
Like the vibe, service was interesting. Our guy was a little spaced out. Forgot cocktails, ordering was weird. Cocktails heavy on the mixers. Couldn't taste other components of drink. Food was good. Crudo very thickly sliced (interestingly), pork tenderloin amazing, rib eye was chewy. Price point matches the boutique aesthetic, not necessarily the food. We will go again.
