Osteria Del Mar Griglieria

My wife and I dived in here on our first night in San Teodoro. Being unfamiliar with the cuisine at that stage we went for simple pasta dishes and shredded beef potatoes It was all okay although my wife's beef was a bit fatty and stringy. Perhaps other things on the menu are a lot better but this was something of an early blot on the copybook of San Teodoro's dining scene (subsequently rectified at every other establishment we visited have a look at my other reviews on that subject). The staff are friendly and the location is good but in the highly competitive overload of great restaurants in the town you can find better at a similar price point

Food is rather boring taste wise in comparison to others restaurants in the area, service is rather ok, wine was fine. They served us tap water in a bottle of mineral water, the same mineral water they serve in all restaurants in the area. No doubt about the tap water. We kindly asked if it was tap water they put up a theatre and in the end they charged “by mistake” 2 bottles of water, though we had only one. 1st rule: don’t lie to your customers, they might leave a comment somewhere...

Good food, wine, cocktails and pleasant service. Food was delivered quickly. Fair prices. Central location. Recommended.

Very nice food and popular. Great service. Had the fillet steak with pecorino sauce . Just the steak so order a side as well. Well cooked. A little pricey but in comparison to uk very good. Staff were friendly and efficient .

We dined here one evening during a two week stay in San Teodoro. The food was nice, but was certainly not the best in the area. Fillet steak lacked flavour and was undercooked, and the seafood linguine was not as good as other restaurants nearby.
