Bidrage med feedbackAn absolute highlight and not only because the hut is on the top of the jaufenpass. the cakes are always a pleasure. the suppe is also recommended. on every trip over the pass is a stop for us already planned here. with beautiful weather outside a beautiful view in the mountain and in the passeiertal.
On the way from meran to vipiteno in South Tyrol I took the state road 44 which leads them to the jaufenpass (passo del giovo). on the top of the pass there is a parking space and the restaurant edelweisshutte. I stopped them. to enjoy the happiness on the alps, and also for a coffee. coffee was very good, service was very friendly.
Refuge at the top of the step good for a break
The engine stops jaw passing through panoramic view. Nice and smooth service, simple card but tastes fine.
Always a stop is worthwhile on the way to south very friendly service
