Jackie's Place - San Jose

Absolutely delicious!!! I've been trying Jackie's Place for some time, and since I've been working so close, I'm just mad I didn't come earlier. Ordered the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with Mac n Cheese and Coleslaw 20/10. A perfect combination and I couldn't even finish it. Portions are big, these pictures do not do justice, as bomb tastes it. My new fave BBQ/Soul Food Spot!

Jacob and I tried Jackie's Place for the first time last night. You will not be disappointed, IT'S. SO. TASTY. The environment was clean and flew with the theme BBQ. The restaurant is family run and you can feel that presence in the restaurant, the staff is friendly and gives attention to their customers. Don't let me start eating. we had pulled brisket and pork with different sides. Unbelievable, please try for yourself.

Jackie's Place is excellent. Love the BBQ, especially the bride. Later, I was on a kick with her fried fish that has a really nice bright corneal batter. Service is great and super friendly, it is immediately opposite the light rail, and has a lot of parking.

WOW!!! Best soul food in the environment beyond! OUTSTANDING!!! Love the food, ambience, service and location! Try the sweet tea and finish your meal with the key lime cake. Best bring your appetite, their portions are very generous! I will be back very soon and highly recommended!

My new favorite soul food joint in the Bay Area! The service was great fun, personable, and makes you feel like family. The playlist was on point servers and customers singing along. the food was SO GOOD. Don’t sleep on Jackie’s Place!
