Pagan Idol - San Francisco

What 's not to love?! Pagan Idol gets the balance between kitsch class right. That is no easy task and many a Tkii Bar has been either branded 'too cheesy ' or 'too pretentious ' trying. There is an awesomely fun middle ground there in which the best tiki bars lie and P.I. knows this. Say/think what you will about the SF chain, Future bars, but this place is on fuckng point!

Finally got to visit this place... Great decor, excellent drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and... appropriate background music! Can't wait to come back. The only downside was having to leave the islands and enter the turmoil of SF rush hour.

Best Tiki Bar in San Francisco. The decor in the upstairs back bar really takes you to a different place. A Polynesian place.

Came here on a night they had a live tiki band they are amazing! I had the Daywalker... some may think 15 is alot for a cocktail, but I've paid 14 for a Rum Coke in NYC....this drink is way more alcoholic and delicious than any average cocktail. Probably the best tiki bar in San Francisco, and one of the top 2 or 3 in the entire Bay Area! Great decor, ambiance, service, menu, showmanship, and drinks and I went on a somewhat crowded Friday night with no stage entertainment! The flaming bowl I split with my group was excellent and the scotch/coffee/chocolate drink I had (topped with a toasted marshmallow and cherry) was a delicious desserty drink!
