Bidrage med feedbackLet me start by saying I love ice cream! I like it thick and creamy! I love the consistency of Mitchell's and Laperts ice cream. Now Milkbomb is on my list of favorites! Their ice cream is thick and creamy and flavorful! Seriously so good! That ube Pandesal is like a not too sweet bread, which was perfect pairing for me! I think the stuffed donut could be too sweet. Even the toasted fluff didn't make it insanely sugary. Hands down one of my new favorites!
6 stars if possible finally got to try the infamous milkbomb tho! my boyfriend and i got here on a thursday night around 8:30 and tried to catch them before they closed and luckily enough marion mike were so kind enough to open their doors for us. they were testing out new thursday hours as seen on yelp and were honestly the most genuine and kind hearted people we have met despite our short interaction. they were so catering and even took the time to get to know us, it felt like we had just made some friends, on top of that made some bomb ice cream sandwiches. they even gave us extra wipes, napkins, and water bottles before we left. needless to say, i am also lactose intolerant but when i saw the unique flavors, i couldn't resist a cheat day. however, luckily enough their ice cream quality is TOP TIER and didn't even give me a stomach ache despite not being able to eat a lot of dairy usually, (i finished my whole ice cream sandwich btw) so extra points for that too. overall 11/10 experience and even extra points for the hospitality and service. we will definitely be coming back!! thank you marion and mike again details below: glazed doughnut with ube and butter pecan and ube drizzle on the left cinnamon doughnut with durian and birthday cake topped with rainbow sprinkles and toasted fluff on the right
Line to get in, one man show with one worker but totally worth every penny omg these ice cream sandwiches are out of this world the owner was incredibly nice and fast paced
So good. Such a fun treat and would go again and again. I love that you can get ube pandesal as a bun for the ice cream sandwich and it is even warmed upIce cream flavors are Filipino/Asian inspired and the texture is unique and perfect for the sandwich experience. Banana rocky road was so fun it definitely has that nostalgic artificial banana milk flavor plus nice chewy/fluffy marshmallow piecesThe cookies and cream topping was tasty, but on a logistical note it was pretty tough to keep in place in the sandwich! I was sad when most of it ended up on the floor I would stick with a sauce or a different topping for the sandwich
I'm not sure about the line here, but if you've ever been to Afters for their donut ice cream sandwiches, imagine that this is the same idea. The ice cream itself is pretty decent (it's no Smitten), but the price point isn't ideal. They generally just have one or two folks working the small shop, so wait times can vary. If you can wait, the 8/8:30pm slot seems to be the way to go. Their Aqua Dream is a hit, and it's basically a Cookie Monster flavor. Not bad, but weird scooping going on here. Expect an empty cone with a perfect sphere on top of it and nothing underneath.
