Qiào Lóng Shāo - San Francisc

Being a dim sum fanatic I was excited to try this place for their “inventive” dumplings. I ordered every dumpling on the menu and found none of them unique but they were so oversized I couldn’t eat them in one bite. Not even in two or three bites, it was annoying. Seriously dumplings are supposed to be bite sized, don’t supersize the dumplings, it doesn’t add anything. I ordered lobster noodles that were bland as a cardboard box. The entire restaurant needs a good deep cleaning, I was afraid to touch any surface. I could visibly see the dust on the cheap plastic faux lamps. Skip this place, there is much better out there.

Food is fire. Taste like the best dim sum from when I was a child. I feel like I can only come here now. Dense radish cakes on my lord the Peking duck. Me, my wife and friend put a whole one down. Can’t wait to over eat again!!!

Fantastic Dim Sum. ….but pls, pls lose the plastic containers of soy and sambal. We didn’t sit down to eat in to have take-out plastic cups plopped down in front of us…especially when everything else is served up, nicely on porcelain plates and platters. We’ll be coming back, but next time we won’t tolerate the disposable plastic takeout containers. They really bummed us out.

Great location!! Service was great!!! Food was very filling and large portions.

We went to a family dinner with the kids, 8-10 years old. We really enjoyed it! Lots of dim sum types and the salt and pepper fish was great. The noodles (Hong Kong) were meh. Wings were a bit over sweet and very meaty. Best dish was the 5 colors soup Dim sum.
