La Vaca Birria - San Francisc

Food here is somewhat different than the average taqueria. Tortilla is fattier from the beef tallow, and the carne asada has a distinct smoky aroma. Tacos are also on homemade two-tone corn tortillas. The birria is a home run with great flavor and texture. Even the complimentary chips and salsa bar are very good and not just from a bag/can.Price matches the quality of the food. I think it’s worth it as it clearly distinguishes itself from other taco joints.

This is definitely authentic Mexican food that is halal! It’s a hole in the wall in the middle of a Mexican neighborhood in cali!We ordered the 3 birria plate, a steak burrito and some single tacos such as steak, ribeye, fish, birria, chorizo! Everyone was great!I highly recommend this place!??

I liked my burrito quite a lot! It was savory and flavorful without getting too greasy. And it was pretty large. Free chips are included with three salsas, but they're much better on burritos than chips. I especially like the chipotle mayo, as the red and green salsas were vinegar-y. Prices are reasonable and I like the decor. I would gladly go again when Farolito is too busy.Parking: Parking isn't too bad around this part of 24th, just find the street sweeping restrictions!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or ramps, but no power door.

This place is hella good, I visit from Orange county and we have a bunch of Mexican food here which is really good but this one definitely tops my list that I want to come back to sf to eat this! And top of all this, this place is HALAL!!! We usually get a bunch of burrito for me and my family and we enjoy the birria meat the best!!! If you in SF this place a definitely stop by spot.
