California Fish Grill - San Diego

I appreciate that they tell you which fish are wild caught versus farmed. I ordered the rock cod Cajun style with rice and a side of asparagus for extra . Fish was cooked well, not overdone and I loved all the extra lemon they give if you ask. However, the Cajun spice was not spicy at all despite having a chili pepper next to it on the menu. Of the three spears of asparagus they gave me, 1/3 of each spear was inedible and should have been cut off before cooking so it wasn?t worth paying extra for.

The fish melts in your mouth and one meal is equivalent to to for me. An awesome place that has something for every fish lover.

Solid value here, and you get a lot of food. It?s pretty tasty too, better than I expected.

I did not care for their ahi poke bowl, but others in our party enjoyed their meals. On a previous visit I had their grilled shrimp and it was pretty good. Will go there again.

Tried their new temporarily dish; hot honey sauce on Branzinos and it was so tasty! It was great with brown rice too. I don't know when they're going to pull this off the menu but y'all need to go try this asap! Cheers
