Zhōng Yě Wū Shí Táng - 三島町

I visited the restaurant for dinner based on a recommendation from my accommodation. The exterior of the restaurant gives off a feeling of a typical local eatery, but I was pleasantly surprised by the interior filled with stylish decorations that made it look more like a cafe or a Western-style restaurant. This unexpected setting personally deserves five stars from me! Along the remote line known as the Tadami Line, many dining establishments tend to close early, but Nakano-ya Shokudo is a lifesaver for those like me who return to their accommodations late as they are open until 8:00 PM.

A well-designed casual dining restaurant. The atmosphere is calming and the prices are affordable, but the food is carefully made after ordering, so it may take some time. Not recommended for those in a hurry, but a great place for those looking to relax. They have manga and you can leisurely enjoy your meal, similar to a café. If you can accept that it's not in the city, it's the best. Also, if you are staying nearby without meals provided, it's very convenient as there are limited dining options around. It's recommended to allow at least 1 hour.

The parent and child rice bowl with Aizu jidori was delicious, with a mild flavor and tender chicken.
