Beach Hut Deli - San Clemente

Had a great experience having lunch here today. Stoked to have them open, and greatly impressed by the quality of my sandwich. Definitely a work of art!! Also, it was very enjoyable to eat inside, all tables had private TVs which made it easy to watch hockey.

It takes a long time to get a Sandwich..I had the Rueben, it was generous with ingredients, but the bread fell apart, so very messy overall. The Bread shld be bigger with so much piled on it. Overall Taste was good, but nothing that is much different than many others..

The food is great! I love the super salad with spinach. You have to be prepared for a wait though. They don?t take call in orders the wait has been at least 20 mins every time (been here about 8-10 times now). I don?t come here if I?m in a hurry.

We?ve waited for this place to open and finally!! Hooray. Perfect location. Small Parking lot available. Beautiful outside patio. Comfortable inside seating as well. My husband had the hot Ruben and I had the avocado turkey? Interesting twist? they put cream cheese on it. Very tasty. We both got the regular and it was both, pieces of art.

Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I'm glad to see this establishment here, and if I could make a suggestion or two I would like to see a happy hour here as it's a little bit on the pricier side especially for beers! Also being so close to the beach it would be nice if the owner would get rid of the plastic utensils and get some biodegradable ones in place the single-use plastic. It would also be nice to see the rest of the premises landscaped with nicesucculents and shrubs or trees, to spruce up the outside a bit. So far since the opening I've been here three times and will come back.
