Otra Vez Mexican Kitchen - San Carlos

This is a review for OpenTable, not for the restaurant. The restaurant CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY on 12/31/22. It is CRAZY that, 3 weeks later, OpenTable STILL accepts reservations. Especially since several users have already reported the closure in their reviews. It is even CRAZIER that OpenTable doesn't offer an option for users to report a restaurant permanently closed. Yelp does, so why not OpenTable?

Delicious food and comfortable ambiance. We wanted to eat dinner outside (given that this review was late December and COVID cases are increasing) but we were disappointed that their outside heaters were not working. However, we appreciated that their dining room was configured with ample room between the tables.

Horrible experience. They tried to charge us for items we did not order. They also got every single order wrong. Highly recommend investigating them as now we are feeling sick from the food.

Food was good overall. Although the salsa, guacamole, and chips they offer you in the beginning are not free. I also felt the customer service wasn’t very good.

Met some friends here the other night to catch up over a meal. The service was so very friendly and the waiters timing was impeccable. We enjoyed the margaritas which were a good size, guacamole appetizer and chips and salsa. For our entrees we chose the tostada salad, enchiladas (red sauce). Our meals were enjoyed. It's a good size restaurant with a nice bar area.
