OCHO 30 - San Andrés Cholula

Sat with friends and they didn't pay attention first. the food and the drinks were good. Unfortunately, the waiter would leave for long periods of time and would only come back when he called. the service was generally very bad. the highlight was the valet.

I absolutely love this place. Everything about it is unique. But... why are you not giving it a 5 point rating? I 'll tell you why later. The place is an icon of hipster fashion. You can lose yourself for hours appreciating every detail in each...one of its spaces. Someone has spent an enormous amount of time carefully choosing every bit of decoration and the result is wonderful and funny. In it 's main area, you can look anywhere and you 'll find lots of details to enjoy. The service: Suprisingly good, as they 're always crowded. Usually, mexican restaurants can 't deal with a full house. Not here. The staff manages to be fast and efficient 98% of the time (a delayed beer is the most I 've had to deal with here). And the hosts are always friendly, cool and helpful. The food: This is perhaps one of the few places in which I intend to try the whole menu, no matter how long it takes. Their food is way above average and the pizza... oh my, the pizza is absolutely astounding. I haven 't eaten a single thing here that I didn 't love. Even their french fries are above standards. And here comes its only flaw, and call me picky if you like, but... As a parent, I 'm always looking for children friendly places. Once again, this place does not disappoints: it has a nice playground area with a babysitter to take care of the kids while you eat. But it is right next to the smoking area and that 's got to be one of the most absurd things I 've ever found in a restaurant. Either the management doesn 't have children or they don 't care, but I do and I simply HATE the idea of my child being exposed to the smokers filth. SMOKING HAS NO PLACE at a restaurant. If someone wants to poison their lungs while eating, they should do it at home, not in a restaurant and certainly not anywhere near children.

In all fairness we were looking for a Mexican restaurant. Little English is spoken here, but the hostess personally took over and guided us through a nice meal. We found mostly Italian choices on the menu and enjoyed the pizza. We will return with a...better mindset.

A pesar de las muchas recomendaciones que tenía del lugar, no fue del todo de mi agrado. Las pizzas de este lugar (que me sugirieron probar) no son ni buenas ni malas. Bueno para conocer, pero no para regresar, al menos para comer.

This restaurant was recommended to me and two friends while we visited puebla for 3 days. we ordered the la higuera pizza and replaced the red sauce for pesto and it was an amazing decision. I am a very picky esser and this hit. the place! I usually put on the normal red sauce and cheese, but I am so happy that I have with this one I loved it! we also go the coco coco salat and turn the speck for cowards, as I was with two vegetarians and it was delicious! I recommend this restaurant we finished two bottles of verderas (not sure that is the name) and had a wonderful time. great service, great food and great mood check this place absolutely!
