Osteria - San Andreas

Owner is very friendly. Unfortunately, they seemed understaffed and somewhat deorganized. The owner was the only one who was inclined and served in front of the house fine with one or two tables, but chaotic with 6 10 tables. People were not sitting or waiting, and seemed as frustrated as we were. Eating was okay the highlight was the Caesar salad and service for a not great experience. There were many locals, so I think we might have them in one night.

My Steak dinner was very good, but I was curious about the calf cake, but it was taken out of the menu for the night.

We have visited this restaurant with friends for the second time and have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The food is delicious and the restaurant is small, with white tablecloths and napkins. We highly recommend it, especially for those looking for a great dining option in the lower Pacific Heights area.

This is one of our favorite romantic but casual restaurants in the neighborhood. Excellent food, ambience and service. It is always a pleasure to dine at Osteria. Thank you.

Our first visit was everything we hoped for. Professional service with a smile, delicious Italian, and good ambiance. We will return.
