Cucina Basilico - San Diego

I was with my wife a few times. we found this place on a chase that explores expeditions. while they are free, because it is between a jack in the box and football shop, are not disturbed. After we made plans and get the choice option without hesitating, we took our four friends and they really enjoyed eating that confirmed my original thoughts on this place. after a great meal, dessert and a couple of flaky wee, we all have happy and come back in every case.

Have they eaten here since they open and we always have great food and first class service!

Fresh tasty pastas, sauces, brot and much more. friendly environment, family owned and operated. large Italian cuisine directly from northern Italy! magnifico!

The pasta itself was delicious and perfectly cooked. the sauces were fresh but very mildly seasoned. between 6’ of us we had the mussels sauce, arrabbiata, agrio e olio and pesto: from these, the pesto was the clear favorit on our table, and the rest had no unforgettable aromen. two people ordered chicken dishes: both the panna e mushrooms and the lemon chicken were extremely bland; in addition, the lemon chicken had no caper in the sauce, as advertised. stay here with the pasta. delicious burrata appetizer and tiramisu dessert. friendly but loud family atmosphere.

Quaint little restaurant in a strip mall and the food was excellent. Delicious homemade pasta and reasonable prices. Service was friendly too.
