Bartom - Salta

An excellent chef hidden behind a pub cafethek. Very many menu options with large portions. Very good attention from the waiters. Mediterranean and Argentine food. Recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner

We had good meals at our first 2 visits and wanted to eat there about once a week in our six weeks in Salta. During our third visit, the parts of the same Entrees were less than half the size and we were... charged the same price. Of course we were very disappointed. We had great service, but we felt betrayed. If I had written the review after the second visit, I would have given 5/5.

We ordered a salad and duck to share... after two of us had eaten, the dish was still very full. The food was okay, nothing to rave. Service was good.

Attracted by the high rating and description we went to this restaurant. we should have looked at the reviews better. the requested pasta was not served. the presented foods were of moderate quality. the pasta with water cream was overboiled. the burger too dry and... the salad very easy with faded leaves. It was at the beginning of the evening, but still I would not recommend the restaurant.

We stopped here for an afternoon bite to eat on arrival in Salta. It was close to our hotel and looked nice so we thought we’d give it a go. Had we have read the reviews on Trip Adviser first we wouldn’t have! We ordered...empanadas and Milanese. The food was terrible, over cooked is how we’d describe it. We also ordered a margarita and a gin and tonic. They were awful. Completely undrinkable and clearly made with cheap spirits. Needless to say we didn’t drink them and didn’t eat much of our meals either. We did find many much much better places to eat and drink in Salta.
