La Estacion del Food Truck - Salento

La estación del Food truck is a great place to have some drinks and food with friends. their's a great variety of food (Mexican, Venezuelan, between others...) which can fit any type of desire. The atmosphere is great, due to it's relaxed decoration.

In this backpacker town, most restaurants seem to serve burgers and pizza. The trucks offer a variety of Argentine arepas, barbecued meats, Latin cocktails (pina coladas, mojitos etc) and fun stuff to eat at picnic tables. Entertaining and casual. And yum.

As the title suggests, myself and my boyfriend ate here 2 nights in a row because we loved the food so much. The owner is super friendly, helped us out when ordering as our Spanish isn't great. Everything is cooked fresh and as you want it (he showed us each of the ingredients so we could pick which ones we wanted and did want). Options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans! The overall vibe of the area is great, being from London we are familiar with street food style night dining but as it's not on the main square it wasn't too busy both times we visited. Definitely check it our if you are in Salento!

Nice place to have dinner, with a few good food places and some tables in the middle. I tried the Kebab place but was very tempted with the mexican food as well as the Venezuelan arepas.

This is amazing you can choose between hamburger but no any one delicious ,areolas from Venezuela , another car from cocktail , crepes,meat , etc.I recommend to go to Arepas Venezuela is on the right size close to crepes station And choose for the 6 kind of arepas , also for the hamburger BÚFALO.Deliciussss!!!!
