Tūn Xǐ - Saito

The restaurant is small with only two tables and it might be a tight fit for 10 people, but it's definitely worth a visit! The chicken tataki and thigh meat yakitori are full of flavor and satisfaction with each bite. The warm and cozy atmosphere, possibly due to the kindness of the owners, makes it a great place to stop by alone or with colleagues and friends. Nishito seems to have many traditional and reliable izakayas, and this is definitely one of them. I will visit again! [Update] I stopped by alone and was able to order a half serving of the thigh meat yakitori, but the tataki portion seemed too large so I had to pass on it. I ended up spending 3000 yen on drinks and left full. I might become a regular here.

This is a long-established yakitori restaurant in Nishito City. The recommended dish here is the yakitori with sauce! The chicken thigh is not grilled in the Miyazaki style, but rather cooked on a hot plate with cabbage and leeks. You can mix vinegar, soy sauce, and mustard to dip the skewers in, which is incredibly delicious. They also serve oden in colder weather, which is a popular takeout menu item.

Delicious! The dishes come out at just the right timing. Everything I tried was tasty, it was my first time eating here and I loved it!
