Bidrage med feedbackThis place never fails to impress me. I came for the chicken sandwich, but they were sold out. So I tried Brat Burger incredible! Sweet, hot, savory , a tomato jalapeno jam that is crazy good !
Was in town got a growler full of brew from a local brewery don't you know. Met up with Sean needless to say I'll be back another day.
Most of the actual reviews I do are for breweries. 180 of them so far. That's just my schtick. But The Grapple will probably be a regular haunt for us. There is a great deck outside with a view of the mountains over the St. Joe. The inside has about 10 tables and a wood stove in the corner for those chilly evenings. TG has some great local beers on tap. SWPFTD and I split a guacamole burger and fries to go with the beers. Yes, we split a burger. I'm trying to drop a few pounds ok? And I'd rather give up half a burger than a beer! Ok, anyway. The burger was really good. The beers were really good, and the young lady working the bar was very friendly. If you are coming through St. Marie's or hanging out for a few days I highly recommend you stop in. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! yelp.com/collection/-8is… and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you!
This place is amazing! The menu may be limited to burgers and fries, but they really bring them at the top of their game you really should check out their menu. I had a burger with Bleu Cheese and Bacon, my guest had their Guacamole and Bacon burger. Perfectly cooked, and the flavors melded so well. And the FRIES: several options are available, I had the Buffalo fries (liberal amounts of hot sauce and bleu cheese sprinkles). Such a great combination! The beer menu that night was 10 draft selections, plus some hard cider and seltzer options all were interesting and flavor (I had the sour guava beer, then a stout porter). Very clean, plus a large deck ideal for evenings! Definitely will be going back!
Absolutely amazing. Best spot in the town of St. Marie's. Environment was one of a kind. Food and beer was great. View from the deck was spectacular. My family and I spent a couple hours there just hanging out, having beers, food, and chatting it up with some locals. This place also has alcohol slushees and wine if you aren't a big beer fan, and they are amazing. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in or near St. Marie's idaho.
