Bidrage med feedbackI've been going to the Mother Nature in Saint John for over 20 years. In the last 4 or 5 years the service goes on the hill. Today is the last day I will go there. The service was good, but the food was...bad and in so small portions to wonder if they try to save money by cutting corners. I had a Donair combo and the salad was mostly cucumber and tomato sausage only a hunt on salad. The Donair sauce tasted like Eagle Brand condensed milk. My wife had her chicken stall with salad. The Stirfry was mostly rice with some vegetables and chicken. The salad was like mine.
Every time I go to St. John, I go to Rothesay Avenue to eat at Mother Nature’s. The Greek salad is amazing. The whole food is fresh and so delicious. I usually go with a bottle of salad dress. Thanks for always being great!
Order two items, Caesar Salat and a Turkey Pita Pocket. I have to travel two separate elevators in two different buildings to eat lunch after I picked this up at 11:40. When I arrived at noon at 12:20, I saw the order was wrong, so I took the Turkey bag into the store to be refunded. We do not make any refunds here, you need to take your (debit) entrance to our Rothesay store! I bought it at King Street Saint John location, who in their right mind will go all the way east of Saint John, 25 minutes by bus, with just one debit reception and say that the order was wrong and can I have my money back? Of course I reached the manager of the Rothesay business location, who told me very kindly that I could be refunded to the King Street location for the mistake. Since when does a business not refund for something? If it hadn't been for the manager of the Rothesay business who called the workers in the King Street business, I would have paid $18.50 for a salad I didn't even eat (it was bought for someone else). Let's just look at it like that, many of my employees commissioned by Mother Nature, but not anymore.
It's been a long time since we ate here, it's never a good meal. I always have the chicken tahini wrap. I had the Greek salad with it, but it would have been a lot without it. Unfortunately, I was too full to have one of their many desserts. We have to get back soon. The hotel is beautiful and clean and there are many seats. They also sell packaged Pita bread for you to take home.
Have been to their restaurant location for a delicious lunch however, noticed their food court outlet at a nearby mall. Same excellent comfort food and desserts. I do however have one suggestion get rid of those silly cheap plastic utensils. Charge a nickel more...and use plastic KFS'S with some substance. Yes, plastic is necessary for public food courts but not the kind that that only fits in a baby's hand and bends when picking up a piece of lettuce. Other that, keep up with your quality and back to basics food prep.
