The Gourmet Hut - Saint Augustine

I have a food allergy and when asking about dishes we got no response on what I could actually eat. We ended up staying to “give the hut a try”. The food wasn’t cooked, the steak was horrible! Th broccoli was literally raw and placed on our plates with cheese thrown on top. The mashed potatoes were cold, half potatoes were all through out the “mashed” potatoes. We asked for water lemon, didn’t get it till half way though our dinner, without the lemon. We asked for check in box, the waiter literally went into the kitchen and we watched him sit there and talk with the cook. So we asked another person for our check and box. Over all, do not go here! Way over priced and not quality experience or food!!

Needs work. My wife and I were visiting St Augustine for several days, chose to eat here one evening. Pluses included a pleasant outdoor setting and the guy on the keyboard. Minuses included a friendly but inadequately trained wait person, a muddled flavor profile and rather high prices compared to the overall quality.

Amazing experience and wonderful service food was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and take more friends!!

Great spot. Good food. Awesome service. Very nice people. I gave 4 stars overall because we did wait a good minute for the food but there was a few large crowds before us. The Gourmet Hut serves a selection of different types of food and seemed as if it was one chef cooking it all. I would go back for sure.

Tha ambiente and live music make this place a great place to dinate. eating is very good, although I think that their menu could use some updates. also the dinner was excellent.
