Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant for lunchtime drinks with a friend. It is a large pub that was quite bustling on a Friday afternoon. The prices for drinks were very affordable and the food was reasonably priced as well. The meals were satisfying and delicious, though not exceptional. The staff members were hardworking and friendly. I had a really enjoyable 3 hours and would definitely recommend this place.
This restaurant is not a fine dining establishment, but in terms of quality and price, I don't think you can find better. My family and I ate here several nights while visiting relatives and enjoyed great food every time. The service was quick and the food was served hot. The new ramen noodle bowl was particularly delicious and definitely worth trying. The restaurant has plenty of seating, although it can get busy on some nights. There is also a cozy area with a fireplace for a more intimate dining experience.
We had lunch at The Picture Playhouse twice during our weekend getaway. Both times, the restaurant was very busy, but the young and efficient staff managed it well. However, it would have been nice if they cleared empty glasses and dirty plates when they brought food and drinks back to the kitchen or bar. There were quite a few tables that needed to be cleared. The area with the open fire is lovely, and the toilets are always clean. Additionally, the restaurant offers fantastic value for money. We look forward to returning the next time we visit Bexhill on Sea.
We went here with friends was cheap and cheerful. The food was all very dry and small portions and the toilets were a bit of a trek but some of it was ok
Really nice pub, large seating area and well furnished for a Weatherspoons. The food was quickly served and was hot and tasty, the waiting staff were polite and friendly, However what really spoiled our evening was the service from the girls behind the bar who were rude, impolite with no manners, it appeared that they obviously did not enjoy their job and did not really want to be there, such a shame.
