Top Shelf Grill - Rosenberg

I ordered takeout from the Missouri City location, and I must say, Brandon's customer service was outstanding. He assured me that the food would be great, and I told him I hoped so and would let him know once I tried it. When I got home, I was immediately struck by the generous portions—there was so much food! I ordered the catfish dinner (three pieces) and a shrimp dinner (four large shrimp), while my wife got the tilapia and shrimp with red beans and rice. Neither of us could finish our meals because there was just too much food. The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right—not overdone or undercooked. We were very pleased with our meal, and I called Brandon back to let him know that his promise held true and that we would definitely be back. A good fish restaurant was much needed in Missouri City, and Top Shelf Cajun has definitely delivered!

We arrived in Houston last night and ordered for our entire family of 17. We were thoroughly impressed, starting with the outstanding customer service provided by Derrick, and extending to the amazing flavors of the perfectly cooked food! The fish, chicken strips, huge juicy shrimp, and tenderly seasoned oysters were all fantastic. And the wings—oh, the wings! All four flavors were incredible, with my favorite being the Cajun Sprinkle! Even the Fritten and Toast were spot on! Thank you for making our family vacation memorable with such delicious food and excellent service!

Tucked away in a shopping strip in Rosenberg, I stumbled upon a solid seafood restaurant that offers a nice selection of Cajun-style dishes. If seafood isn't your thing, there are plenty of other options available. The portion sizes were quite reasonable for the price. On the flavor scale, I would rate them an 8 out of 10; while the dishes are meant to be Cajun, I was hoping for a bit more heat. I tried the blackened citrus sausage and shrimp served on a bed of steamed vegetables, which was delicious, though I would have preferred my vegetables to be crunchier rather than too soft. They also offer shrimp by the pound, Chicken, Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya, Chicken Pasta, and Parmesan-seasoned chicken wings. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our meal, and I will definitely return. The restaurant also has outdoor seating and several wall-mounted TVs, making it a great spot to catch a game while enjoying some tasty New Orleans-style cuisine.
