Le Royal Provence - Rognac

We saw the pictures of the restaurant on internet and we really thought we will have a great beach view, however when you arrive you are desapointed by the view on central station... Inside the restaurant its very noisy due to echoes, and outside you need to have a table under the shade caus it's very hot in summer time. We waiting a bit for the food, but the quality of the dishes is great! Very fresh with a seafood bar of fresh catched fishes everyday.

The restaurant, not easily accessible for those less mobile, has a nice set up with direct access to the bay. The reception was courteous but from there, service went down hill. We were continuously ignored, had to wait endlessly for our orders to be taken, and received below par service while all the other tables received full and quick service. Small example: upon arrival, orders are taken for apperitif and are served with a dish of olives. While we did receive our apperitif, we were not served olives, even after we had asked for them. One of the waitresses was downright rude, serving plates by handing them over from the opposite side of the table (instead of going around to the correct side of the table and placing them as they should directly in front of the guest); a glass of wine when it finally arrived was placed on the left side of the guest without a word (when it should have been placed on the right side). The food served was mediocre. All in all a very unpleasant experience.
