Bidrage med feedbackYou mean I have to come all the way out to Rockville for this lechon combo platter with garlic rice, longanisa and egg? And I can drive to Oxon Hill too where there are a lot of Filipino restaurants. But ok, this place is very good. Great space, good service, hot food, crispy, crunchy skin, juicy and tender lechon ... fresh, pickled atchara. Yes, I'm happy and I will be back with friends. Yes, we will make the trip. It's worth it. It's good. A lot of variety and I'll try more later.. right now, just savoring this platter! Salamat!
The Sisig was on point and the Lechon was so crispy you get that CRUNCH when you bite into the pork skin. A special thank you to Mike Chen for the recommendation!
I havent heard of this place and my friends suggested to stop by for a quick bite. The first thing I noticed when I walked inside was Gwenie's Pastries! I remembered I tried these desserts at Smorgsburg and I was excited to try a few more treats! After some time being indecisive, I got the ube cake and I HIGHLY recommend if you want a fluffly light cake. Im salivating just thinking about this cake, yummy!!! Now on to the actual food, my partner and I shared the lechon belly, spaghetti, and lumpia. The total was on the pricier side, but the food made up for it. The lechon skin was insanely crispy and the meat was fatty and tender. The filipino sphagetti was super cheesy and had a nice sweetness to it. Definitely a yummy place if you are looking for filipino food and some yummy dessert!!!!
The food is great, customer service on point, but the one dish they should work on is Lechón Kawali no flavor plain it's like eating air, guys need to step it up on the pork belly, sad.
WISH I LIVED CLOSER; i'd eat here every weekend! My plate was the lechon belly combo; that crunch on the skin of the pork belly can be what's throughout the states! Soooo delicious and fatty (i like the fat so the more the better). You can definitely feel it in the chew so if it's not your thing don't order. The soy garlic rice was a nice add due to balance out the plate. The sauce on the side, amazing to drizzle on top of the entire plate. I could go on and on but that was such an amazing plate. I would order the exact same thing each time if i could. The crispy adobo sandwich was deceiving had a sweet kick to it! The sauce in it tied it all together. The fries were crisp to order. There was no room for desert but they had ube cake, mango cake, and some other pastries hanging on the wall. The staff was friendly and had such a flow to them from the cashier to the expo guy assisting the kitchen staff. Loved the decor inside and location had plenty of parking. We went for peak dinner so it does get a bit busy but they bring out the food pretty quick.
