The Old Stone Tavern - Rochester

Thrilled with our experience here. We made a big takeout order for a birthday football-watching party (GO BILLS . Todd advised me on quantities, and took great care of us start to finish. We got 7 orders of chicken wings, 3 orders of boneless chickenbites, 3 orders of cauliflower bites. My wing-aficionado family said you know where to get your wings now (we 're newish toRochester , and all afternoon people kept telling me that cauliflower is so good . (People liked the boneless chicken bites,too, but those were mostly for the kids, so I didn 't get specific commentary on them ???? And the bit of leftovers we ended upwith (not many! have been great reheated in our air fryer. Such a big order, and everything was excellent. We will definitelyget food here again!

I highly recommend the grilled cheese bites, as they were exceptional. The pleasant level of ambient noise in the restaurant may be due to the calm crowd or the well-insulated room. Being able to have a conversation at a normal volume is a plus when dining at a bar. Despite the service issues, we have decided that we would come back to OST with high hopes and realistic expectations. We look forward to trying more items on the menu.

The best fries in the city! They were so delicious. The pretzel sticks had a crispy outside and chewy inside, served with delicious beer cheese. The crispy potstickers were amazing, and the Korean BBQ was awesome. My wife had the Seoul burger, which had a creamy taste from the cream cheese and garlic butter. I tried the onion super smash, and the patties had the perfect hard sear. Plus, the mac salad was creamy and tasty. The bartender/server was funny and personable. We are already planning to go back!

This is an excellent neighborhood bar! The food is consistently delicious and the entire staff is extremely welcoming. It's a great place for lunch or dinner, and takeout is also a reliable option.

Always such a pleasant place to grab a bite or a brew. Food is always on point and the selection of libations are always terrific. The staff is always welcoming and efficient. Nicely decorated space too and they are keeping their prices reasonablewhich is a huge deal. People like coming back when they're not getting dragged over coals!
