La Table D'Isabelle - Rocamadour

Over there were several years back when they first visited the city. I tasted the menu and it was beautiful. don't get me wrong, the quality is still there, but I feel like the crepes are a little smaller than it was... so was still hungry, and we waited for our main dish for a long time. I don't know if I'm going back.

We visited isabelles table on recommendation of our host who live directly outside of gourdon, and were certainly not disappointed. we went mainly there for the menu ouvrier (worker dinner) which cost at euro 14 (about £10) and had four courses for it. plus brot, water, 500ml wein and coffee. added, it is ground dug, but very tasty and fill, and what a tasty! there was absolutely nothing to complain about, and we would certainly aim to make a return trip there if close.

Beautiful quiet sackgasse in the village. basic 'value for money' menu. mainly pizzas and salatspezialities. some live music on a day of the week.

My wife and I eat here once every week and have been so doing for two years. We are retired and find Isabelle very congenial. The menu ouvrier 'workmen 's menu ' served every week day is varied and great value for money. that is what we...normally eat. Isabelle and her husband organise higher pitched and more special menus in evenings and on special fête days. The cuisine is always traditional. On various evenings there is music. We wouldn 't go if we did not find it a pleasant way of eating and to suit our pocket. No fuss down to earth, French to the core. Rather the sort of place that Maigret might frequent. It doesn 't serve expensive wines nor expensive fussy food, The plates are circular splendid. I would score it excellent but it is not a chi chi place, although surprising well decorated and appointed It is just what I want

Table d'Isabelle was a great night out. The pizzas were amazing, the setting was lovely by the church, there was great music playing Isabelle her staff were extremely friendly,attentive, polite efficient. I would definately recommend this restaurant.
