Fish Box - Robin Hood'S Bay

Beautiful little sound, after walking on the hill, the fish box near the top of the fall again, perfect, have a beer, a coffee or even a beautiful haggis evening meal, breathtaking to sit and eat views over robin hodds bay

Served us at our wedding evening do. Food was delicious, hot and on time. Everyone complemented the lovely meal served. Additionally, the ice cream cart went down exceptionally well with our guests. And to too it off, all was extremely reasonably priced. Excellent job Fish Box, thankyou!!

A fantastic little gem located on the hill leading to the center of Robin Hood's Bay. Though it's small, it's cozy both inside and out. It can be a challenge to find a place to sit because of how popular it is. The views are stunning, and the food is served beautifully! We enjoyed every moment spent under the sun savoring our fish and chips. It's likely the best fish and chips I've ever had!

This charming fish and chip shop serves both cod and haddock, all while boasting a fantastic view of the bay. The establishment is well-kept, featuring the classic shiny metal counter typical of chippies. Meals are served in a box, and there's a box deal available as well. The cod was perfectly battered and juicy, while the chips were fluffy on the inside and held up well with vinegar (a generous portion for most). The mushy peas were delicious too. It’s a delightful meal to enjoy after a stroll back from the beach.

This restaurant is a favorite that I visit regularly, and it never disappoints. I always enjoy a good meal and drink here. On this occasion, we ordered both fish and chips along with a carton of cider. Our drinks, a latte and tea, were served in disposable cups, and we enjoyed our meal on tabletops. As usual, the fish was perfectly cooked and fresh. There’s plenty of seating available both inside and outside, and the place is popular with dog walkers outside and older people like us who prefer to sit inside and take in the beautiful view from the windows. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and very efficient. A visit to Robin Hood's Bay is worthwhile at any time!
