Bernard's Gastropub Eatery - Roanoke

Great little restaurant. Their take on a reuben is awesome. Tried their fried pickles as well. Great as well and very generous portions. Very friendly service as well. Nice gastropub, one Roanoke should be proud of.

Very happy I gave this place a chance. The bartender was on her A game, serving the entire dining room by herself yet the service was unmatched. Beautiful restaurant with nice music and a great ambiance, as well as some very clean restrooms. I ordered the Texan burger and it was one of the best I?ve ever had, their cheesy potatoes are also worth a try. I look forward to returning to this location.

Great food and service. Local beer selection. Wine and cocktails. Great bread and burgers for lunch. Try the eggs! Outside restaurants available, although street landscape is currently drab, but inside is low-lighted and groovy!

Stopped in Roanoke on our way back to Ohio from Georgia, found this restaurant via Google. Very large, varied menu. Charming place, friendly efficient service, nice choice of libations. All 4 of us LOVED our meals some had sandwiches, some a traditional main course. Chef has culinary degree from Johnson Whales it shows ! Highly recommend !

Beautiful restaurant with a great menu. I came, along with a group of friends, to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had the blueberry martini as a drink, shared some raw oysters as an appetizer, and got the seafood special as a dinner. The service was absolutely great and everyone's food was absolutely amazing. Bernard's has made its way onto my favorites list after this experience!
