Bidrage med feedbackWent here for a beer after work. It's in a country club retirement community, and it was Wacky Wednesday. Who knew? The views are gorgeous and the drinks are cheap. After watching some of the dinner guests hit the buffet, we were ready to stay. We didn't have a reservation but we got a seat. Understand that 5 6:30 is prime time in this senior community. Overall the food was pretty good: salad, rolls, broccoli, garlic mashed potatoes, meatloaf and gravy; and it was reasonably priced. But the atmosphere made it. The views, the people all made for a marvelous evening!
Went here for a family party where we took up the whole banquet room. I ordered the salmon, which was pretty decent. However, the steak was really dry and didn't have much seasoning so it tasted basically like dry meat. The steamed vegetables tasted like something you get from the frozen section at the grocery store. My son had the chicken tenders and french fries and that seemed like a better choice over the steak. Not much to say about this place since I've only been here once and it was a prix fixe menu. The banquet was nice and had views of the golf course. Nice ambiance for its location and seems to be a nice place to hangout for the people that live in that area.
We had lunch here in May 2015 when we came out from Denver to look into buying a new home at Trilogy. The menu had a very good selection and we found the quality of the food to be very good. The service was good, and the prices very fair. I have read the other reviews, but compared to the food quality and prices in the Denver area this place should probably get a five.
The restaurant is next to the club house at the Trilogy Golf coarse In Rio Vista which is open to the public. The setting and look of the Dinning room was very delightful with the back dinning area having a great view of the golf coarse, a very pretty setting. I had the halibut with a soup starter and my wife had a small steak. It came with the normal things and veggies that comes with them most anywhere. I have to say everything was very good and tasteful. Their menu is OK, with the normal items from sandwiches/hamburgers to fish, chicken dishes and steaks. Prices where surprisingly reasonable for the different items on the menu. The bar area is arranged nicely with a low bar and two TV 's above the bar for sports or other viewing and everything is very clean. The only negative would be with the limited staff refills on drinks was a little slow. But, all in all, it was a great stop. I do not think I would drive from here to there just to eat But if in the area it is a good refill stop if it is around lunch or dinner time. P.S. depending on your mood if you set in the bar/dinning area you will have to listen to the I was the best golfer of the day stories (lies). But, the back dinning area is quiet with a better view out the windows.
Had pasta and a salad. Gorgeous location. An oasis in the middle of heaps of farmland. You need to go through the security gate, but the guard was very friendly.
