Koh Thai Ringwood

We had the Mixed Sharer at £26.50 pp. You can specify what you like/want or dislike or leave it to them. We had a selection of 3 Starters, 3 Main Courses. Which include Sea Bass which was delicious, plus rice. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. The staff were very informative and pleasant. Excellent service. Highly recommended

Visited Ringwood and just popped in as the lunch special advertised outside looked inviting. It was FANTASTIC! I had prawns to start and my partner had spring rolls. Both were beautiful. Mains had Phad noodles and a curry and they were delicious. Service was excellent and a very nice relaxed atmosphere. The 2 guys were warm, welcoming and friendly. Thank you chef for a delicious lunch time meal. X

I visited Koh Thai in Ringwood on Monday 21 October 2019 in the early evening, a weekday during term time. I was with four other people. This was my first visit to the Ringwood restaurant though I have previously visited the Koh Thai restaurants in Bournemouth and Lilliput. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I parked in the street nearby the restaurant parking was easy. Whilst the parking arrangements aren't immediately clear you can park in the main high street after 6/7pm check the parking restrictions carefully! The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service. The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed a mix of dishes including vegetable spring rolls, crispy shredded chilli beef, chicken satay, sweetcorn cakes and coconut rice. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was reasonably good value for money, I paid around £30 including and drinks. The restaurant automatically added a service charge to the bill, which is cheeky, though they did clearly point this out on the receipt and made us aware of this verbally. I personally believe that tipping for good service should be entirely at the customers discretion and there should be no pressure by the restaurant or assumption on their part this is a big turn off for me and I believe that the restaurant should reconsider this position. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would come and visit again.

I celebrated my wife's birthday at Koh Thai, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff for a wonderful meal. I have Crohn's disease, which severely limits my diet, and I haven't been able to eat out for over a year. They were very accommodating and prepared a delicious chicken dish that I could enjoy. And the price was fantastic—only £8 for the dish! I look forward to coming back regularly, as I truly loved the experience and can enjoy dining out again.

It was an amazing experience! We had a large group and no clear idea of what we wanted to eat, so we let the staff make the selections for us. They asked us a few questions and ended up preparing a wonderful meal! The service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this place!
