Bovino Grill - Rimouski

This was our second visit to rimouski and the first time we fought a bit, but tried bovino grill and it was very good, good eating and personal

We decided to check the grill, and we were not disappointed, our waitress was excellent, and bilingual, help us with the menu to see what we were looking for. the kitchen is open, and the chef is very professional and ask if our. food was to our pleasure.

My man had a steak and pommes that came with a beautiful green salat. I had beer with coleslaw. we ordered both dessert (a rich chocolate cake and cream bubble). everything was perfectly cooked. the service was friendly and fast. they have. English, which was helpful. we would go back if we were in the opposite.

My wife and I ordered the brochette de boeuf and a French woof soup for a starter. the suppe was good, but the croutons and cheese were not part of the actual suppe. instead a piece baguette with melted mozzarella cheese but the menu. the main course was terrible. it comes with pilaf rice, salad, fries and of course the bark. the salat had no dressing, we asked for some and what we got was a dip not a salat dress. impossible to mix on a plate with a fuss because it was as thick as mayo. Pilaf rice had no spicy and was cold. fries were the worst. If you ever bought McDonalds-Fries and let them sit half an hour or so and then tried to eat them, you would know exactly what I'm talking about. the bark should have been the star, but it was far from it. in the round it is a less high quality meat that is tendered with marinade and because the binde fabric has not been broken enough, it was like rubber bands. I had to spit it out and the last piece I couldn't even eat. I never had such a bad experience in a decent steakhouse. the decor was very beautiful, but deceptive. also it seemed to be many families and large groups that made for an extremely loud restaurant. the evening was and we ate on our teller when that and that is not inclusive of the pommes. has or max. judge them not a book at his cover is so true in this case, so please stay away.

Perfectly cooked and reasonable price. Nice service. Good start for our tour in Quebec on our way up from Montreal to Gaspesie.
