When around Rijeka I always consider a quick bite in this place. Excellent pizza and everything else on the menu. Prices are also reasonable.

Pizza with black truffles is my favorite! If you long for good pizza, while in the town of Rijeka you might be able to look at Trsat part of the city and go to Pizzeria Pampas. Beautiful spacious terrace, sometimes it will be full, especially during the summer season, but you know that you are in the right place, because mostly locals come here. The prices start from 40HRK, medium pizza is about 50HRK, big is 60HRK and Jumbo about 80-90HRK, of course everything depends on what kind you order. Croatia beer is 17-18HRK. In late hours it can be overcrowded so you are warned, you need to wait 45 minutes as we do. So we ordered one with anchovies that I 4/5, maybe too salty, anchovies are salty, as we know, but cheese added saltiness, too. Nothing's wrong with this pizza. But my pizza was delicious, I ordered them with truffles, and it was 5/5, didn't know I like truffles so much, and on this I really enjoyed every bite. Especially when you get a local olive oil and care for something on your pizza. I felt like I had party in my mouth, and I didn't fight to swallow quickly, just enjoy in this Umami taste. Also in the nearby Istria region, famous for truffles, every bowl with truffles is over 100HRK, as it is possible here you can do it for 50-60HRK!? Anyway, if you love truffles with this, you can't go wrong. It was accompanied with Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Riccola. Pizza! They also served the variety of pasta, so much to explore and enjoy...
