Caet [seafood I Oysterette] - Ridgeland

Fresh oysters from oysters from multiple places made for an amazing appetizer. The selection was very impressive and you're sure to find something to fit your palette. Finished the evening with the shrimp and grits entrée which was very well presented andflavor combinations were great.

The service was excellent. My waiter recommended the old fashioned cocktail and it was very good. I had the pimento cheese toast with the bacon jam. Very interesting and complex flavors that I absolutely loved. The special was the skin on red snapperand it was very good also. The skin was crisp and made a very good contrast to the texture of the snapper filet.

We informed her that we, the customers, specifically wanted to keep the menus and that she could tell management we were requesting it. Her response was somewhat dismissive, and she did not acknowledge our need. We explained that we were not ready to place our order yet, having only just requested our appetizers, and that we would like to hold onto the menus until we made our decision since we were uncertain about our choices. At one point, I offered to take a photo of the menu to alleviate the issue, but she declined my offer. In the end, she only provided us with one menu for the two of us and insisted we leave it on a shelf behind our table, forcing us to turn around every time we wanted to check the menu for food or drink options. Throughout our meal, she returned multiple times to ask if she could take the menus. This was particularly frustrating because our son has recently had a serious health scare and has been in and out of the hospital; this was our first chance to have some time alone outside of the home in months. The constant interruptions regarding the menus disrupted our much-needed evening.

One of our favorite seafood spots in the Jackson area! The beef carpaccio is a standout on the appetizer menu, and the redfish is absolutely delightful. They also have a great selection of raw oysters.

We visited for cocktails and a caramel tart, and the service by Adell was superb—perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Our cocktails were fantastic as well; I highly recommend the Diablo, and their Old Fashioned was excellent too.
