Ordered take out. Paid $2 extra for a side salad but received lima beans. Crab and artichoke dip was a runny mess with stale chips. Chicken salad and flounder sandwiches were just okay. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5

My wife, her brother and I went to this restaurant because the reviews looked decent and the branding and pictures of the food looked pretty good. In spite of the well kept picture, this is the worst food and drink I’ve ever had at any restaurant, ever. My wife and her brother agreed. Unless you want a weird experience, just go ahead and pass on this place. My wife and I both got sweet tea. You can tell the mix for the sugar was right for the sweet tea, but there was a strong taste of chlorine that was impossible to overlook once you noticed. Her brother also mentioned not being able to stomach the water because it had an odd taste. I got the bougey burger. The fries tasted fine but I noticed a similar issue with the burger that I noticed with the tea. Every bite consistently had a strong, weird bitterness that did not belong in food. I couldn’t taste the meat or pimento cheese. I just tasted a chemical bitter taste. My wife got the crab cake. It was very dry and the mixture of texture and flavor made it difficult to swallow. She had greens for a side which she described as crunchy and bitter with no flavor. Her brother got the flounder. He was not a fan of it either and I ended up having to take them both to get fast food down the road to get them meals they could stomach. Not a good experience my salad had rotting produce as did my chicken salad sandwich. Fried foods (fries and fish) were not cooked through. People were very nice and comped the salad but I also saw another table complaining about underdone burgers. Decor is well thought out but the infrastructure is old and there were many fruit flies. Do not recommend.
