Botto Bistro - Richmond

I don't know, the food is good, but it doesn't have a good score on Yelp. So I don't know how I should feel about it... Also the prices are a bit high...

Customer service has been decreasing steadily over the past 5 years. The only reason to go is for calzone. Lots of attitude from staff. Frequently angry at the customer for bothering them. Foods good but not worth dealing with jerkiness. This last time I called they would only let me order on the phone with a credit card? I canceled the other and will never buy anything from them again.

I live close by and would come here maybe twice a month paying $70 each time. I love his food, it?s delicious! I also appreciated the sarcasm with wanting 1 star reviews...however my recent order he is now charging you extra for using a credit card. So even if I pay $70 for dinner here I will be charged a ?convenience? fee for using a card. This has gone a little too far and there is such a thing as a cost of doing business. It?s a shame too, because there are not a lot of good food choices right now in pt. Richmond/marina bay but I just can?t stomach being charged more for using a card when the prices here are already high for an Italian place in a shopping center.

The owner wants 1 star, but this place is great! Homemade, fresh, authentic Italian. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Awesome. Will definitely be back!

I went here with a friend who didn't expect anything and was pleasantly surprised. The Aubergines Parmesan was very good as the Panini-Arugula salad. There is no table service and very little atmosphere overall, but eating more than compensated. You have to take food that would probably be a better option than “to eat”. The pizza gets great reviews, but I didn't try. Many humor is used in their publicity as they “worst service”, “worst food”, etc. I would go back to a casual lunch or going out.
