Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. It is a cozy little spot that is not as loud as other places. The food and coffee were very tasty. I would definitely recommend it.
This restaurant is the worst place ever. It took a long time for the server to understand our order, and then she informed us that there was a rule requiring every customer to order an item. This is completely absurd - not everyone wants to eat a full dessert by themselves, sometimes you just want to share with a friend. Despite there being four of us, when we ordered three pieces of cheesecake, she insisted we needed to order a fourth item or we couldn't dine there. We were shocked and asked if we could just get the three pieces since there was nothing else on the menu we wanted. After consulting with someone in the corner, she reluctantly agreed. From that point on, the service was incredibly rude. When our cakes arrived, she only brought three forks. When we asked for another, she didn't respond and simply threw the fourth fork onto the table. Her behavior was so disrespectful, I half expected her to throw it at me. She wouldn't even make eye contact with us. The restaurant has the most ridiculous rules, accepts cash only, and provides terrible service. Save yourself the trouble and get your dessert somewhere else.
I was unsure of what to expect when I visited this restaurant. Initially, I struggled to find the location even with the address. I was almost about to give up, but luckily we managed to locate it at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering as we were the only customers there. The decor was minimalistic, but there was some soothing music playing in the background. We ordered two lattes and shared a blueberry cheesecake. The latte was exceptional, served in a glass cup with visible layers. The blueberry cheesecake was absolutely delicious, with a light and delicate blueberry flavor. It was not too heavy like other cheesecakes I have tried. I am excited to try more flavors in the future. The total cost for our order was only $13.00, and it is worth noting that the restaurant only accepts cash. I will definitely make a point to visit again when I am in Richmond, as it might just become my main reason for going to the area.
Most of good dessert places are all located in Vancouver west end or downtown Vancouver. My sister just discovered a cheesecake place in Richmond recently. It is a small shop specialized in cheesecake. The cake is very decent. Just want to share with you who live in Richmond and want to find a piece of good cheesecake sometimes. The price is very reasonable. BTW, the coffee is very good as well.
I liked the place, cash only for those that plan on going. The interior decor is nothing fancy.
