R Ki Coffee Lab - Richmond

Interesting tiny coffee roastery owned by a Japanese guy, where only serious coffee lovers seem to go. I got a latte so I couldnt taste the true coffee flavor here, but the latte itself was very good. Even though it wasnt too strong of a coffee, it was unique. Nothing else offered here other than the coffee, which says it all!The seats are very limited, and people can freely sit themselves as long as there is a chair.I would come here again for another cup of coffee!

Absolutely the best coffee in greater Vancouver is served up here. The owner, Russ, is not only a brilliant roaster, but he's the best barista we've encountered in the city, thus far. We drive once or twice a week from North Burnaby to experience perfection in a cup. We've been to all the top rated coffee bars in the city, but R Ki is on another level. We are more espresso drinkers rather than pour-over, but he is a master of both. Our preferred drink at R Ki is a cappuccino, and the extraction is always perfect, and the ultrafine microfoam texture that he achieves is unlike anywhere else, and is exactly how we like it. Honorable mentions to Prototype, Revolver, and Small Victory.

Went here on the way to Vancouver, and absolutely loved it! The vibes are so cute and quaint, not to mention the espresso is amazing! We got a latte and a Spanish latte, highly recommend the Spanish latte that has a little bit of sweetness and a great taste overall. Perfect coffee shop for a rainy day! Also, i LOVE me some good latte art, and the guy in the front did amazing w it :
