I suppose they offer vegan options, but in reality it's just a bagel and a pita with the same ingredients. It's good that they have them, but it's not the best choice available.
Located in the heart of Reykjavik, The Grey Cat is a charming café nestled between a bookstore and an art gallery. They offer a variety of delicious breakfast options including pancakes, bagels, bacon with scrambled eggs, and buttered toast. If you're looking for a cozy spot away from the tourist crowds to start your day with a tasty meal, this is the place for you. The coffee is also top-notch. Be sure to try their specialty dishes, known as "trucks," if you have a big appetite. Keep an eye out for the cat in the window to find this hidden gem.
After landing in Reykjavik on a red-eye flight, we searched for food until our hotel room was ready. We stumbled upon a small café with a limited vegan menu, but the house-made hummus and pita were delightful and definitely worth trying out.
