Really good fish and chips, batteries really crispy not oily and chips were perfect! also a very nice and cozy pub. comes back.

A very welcoming pub! extremely dog friendly and our meals were perfect. would have received 5 stars if it was not for the 10% service fee. a tipp is a thing, but if they expect to pay their bill before they even saw their meal times, they can't call it a drink.

For the first time in the afternoon. beautiful cozy pub and restaurant. extensive menu of light biss main courses and sandwiches. the employees and employees, in particular laura, were a credit to the company. smart, politically friendly and attentive. the food was perfectly cooked, well presented and at a reasonable price. well made harper inns group.

Desperately looking for a dog freindly pub while on a camping break. Found this little gem. Beautiful place lovely friendly welcome. Allowed to sit in the main bar area not shoved into a dingy corner out back like you would usually encounter with a dog. Both staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had very crispy fish and chips not a gram of fatty oil to be seen. Homemade horse radish was nice too. Stayed for a pudding and was intrigued by the pistachio tart and wasn't disappointed. Pub soon started filling up which is great to see. Nice atmosphere a snug in the back and a third section with a mug burner allows you a good choice of seating. Congratulations to owners this is exactly what a family friendly pub should feel like.
