River Rock Grill Ale House - Renton

I like the river rock. eat them all the few months there. that was for Thanksgiving Day meal. most people at the table liked their eating in order. $50 per person and not even coffee or tea with the meal. service was a little black and people working seemed not to pay much attention or carefree. table was nicely set up, but we had to keep our one fork through each cure, including dessert. it didn't feel like a $50 meal. I would recommend the river rock to lunch. beautiful main restaurant with views of the golf course. (then served in one of the banquet rooms)

The open dining room felt like a gymnasium at a high school, and the quality of the Thanksgiving meal felt like students new to home ec had prepared it. Overall, it was one of the worst “restaurant” experiences I can remember.

We sat on the terrace to dinner where the live music was. the music was excellent and was not too loud to be overlaid while we eat. the service, in particular the drink service, could have been better (we had to ask several times during our visit for filling,) but the food was great! good size portion and excellent taste.

The dinner on the terrace was really enjoyed and the entertainer was great!

Sadly, the service and the food were not up to simple expectations. The server had little to no “service experience” and we had to bother other servers with water refills and a plate. I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.
