The Original Mels Diner - Reno

I was very excited to go to Mel?s, knowing the quality of Mel?s in LA. The moment we came in was a great disappointment: ground gas stationery - without vegan/dairy-free options for shakes, cheesy-fat, tasteless veggie burgers, large pieces of a pickle, diluted orange juice for 6!$ and a dirty soil. To be fair: waiter Chris was a favorite, another waiter ran sad to scream the orders. Someone could say it? American authentic? but for me it's just bad. When we were gone, there was a waiting line at 11:00. Never trust that a brand is upholding the quality of a franchise. So post the best of this place: outdoor lighting a rare historical image.

Mels is always a good place to eat. Chili cheese fries, san francisco burger, big bopper with a koks and strawberry jake. I played some songs from our table. very pleasant.

2nd time at this location. Food is good, and the staff is friendly. Busy during the morning rush as expected. Would prefer more social distancing within seating areas. Bring change, there is a mini jukebox at the table for music entertainment ????
