Mario's Portofino - Reno

This place is going on our list of Italian restaurants. My fettuccine Alfredo wasn't the best I've had, but it was good. Hubbies baked canniloni was awesome, loved the marinara, but wish there was more of it. Service was excellent and ambiance was great.Parking: Parking lot is a one way loop, but plenty of parking.

We were there for a memorial service for a friend. The atmosphere us awesome the food that was prepared was perfect. Everyone was awesome. Very impressed we plan on going to dinner next week.Food: 5/5

Service was good and clean.Came to the spot based on a recommendation that it was the “best Italian” in Reno. Found it to be rather plain and was underwhelmed. It was just fine, not memorable.Vegetarian options: Yes.

We had a lovely dinner for our anniversary. The setting is old style Italian, the service was excellent and our meal was delicious. We started with calamari… crispy and tender. The coating could have used a bit of seasoning though. My husband had seafood risotto…ample amount of seafood with perfectly cooked, creamy rice. I had chicken Marsala…the sauce was delicious. Dessert was tiramisu… so light and airy! Looking forward to returning the next time we are in the Reno area.
