Restaurant les Escaravats - Remoulins

I'd rather eat here. great food, cheap. great view and late open. service was fantastic and friendly. I would eat here again if I could.bw

Our visit to remoulin was actually not planned, but we are really grateful that we landed in this restaurant. the personal was friendly and they did their best to help us, as we don't speak French at all. (we are not proud of it, and we apologised to all who had to adapt to us because we did not speak their language. we always do. one of their employees gave us a menu in English. he mentioned that they did not really have an English menu, but he tried his best to make a non-French speaker guests. for me this is a really beautiful gesture! (again, we are grateful and we have expressed our gratitude) we ordered meat and seafood and we both agree that eating was great!

A real happiness we picked up this restaurant. beautiful location in a stone building with vaulted ceilings. the “menu du jour” for 15 euro was incredibly worth with pate en croute for beginners, a delicious mixed grill (bef and sausage) and chips as...main course, a selection of amazing desserts (tarte aux poires was stunning) plus wein and coffee, all included. so good!

Their Plat du Jour for 15E was the value of the trip and every bit as delicious as meals that have been three times the price. Cup of local olives, carafe of an intriguing wine, a fresh salad of all the wonders of Provence, a...beautifully prepared pork cutlet swimming in a drink-it-all-alone cream sauce, hot French fries, crime brûlée, coffee. Excellent, friendly service. Will we eat there tomorrow night? You bet!

We choose the menu of the day. Excellent balance between quality quantity and price. If we will be back in that area we'll go back to this restaurant. If you are traveling with small children, equip yourself with a high-chair because the restaurant does...not has them.
