Beacons Family Bistro - Redlynch

The reason I'm giving this a 5 is because it was so tasty it's exactly what i expect from a pub, a nice tasty steak chips and a lovely salad not to mention the lovely mushroom gravey

Staff were always checking on my family to make sure we were happy and looked after. The food came out in good timing and was cooked to perfection and tasted great.

When we first were seated we didn't get any menus and I had to ask for them. Not normally a huge issue but add in we wanted falafel and were told it had run out. Then instead we wanted potato gratin and this was also out. I didn't understand why seeing as we got there at 6pm and the place was only 1/3 full. We ordered the edge mix and Buddha bowl. Both were tasty and ribs were sensational. Buddha bowl was nice but a little on the sweet side. Nice flavours though. All in all it was ok but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Quiet spot for a good pub meal. Staff were friendly and were very helpful. Drink prices are cheap with a good variety of wine and plenty of beer options.

If you want a quiet place for lunch or dinner, this is the place to go, they have great meals especially for seniors. Staff are friendly.
