Updating my review I have been back several times now and the food and service has been great. The first time I ate there I went in to the restaurant staff was really nice. 2nd time I got stuck in the drive through for a 1/2 hour only to get to the window and be told my order was never rung up. 3rd time I ordered through Uber Eats no food was delivered just a smoothie. No contact from Tropical or Uber Eats about my sandwich not being available. I won't be ordering again.
The wait in line is always long and you?d think it?s because their serving fresh hot food. But , it?s the complete opposite. I?ve given this place many chances to change my mind about them but every time is a disappointment. The sandwiches never taste hot nor are they good. I have to pick through the entire sandwich . Also, the staff doesn?t seem very friendly. Never a smile or hello. You?d think it?d be different since this is a new store for this location. But, I can say I?m never coming here again. Please close this location. I rather drive to the suburbs then to ever come here again. They have no idea how to make the sandwiches or smoothies. Absolutely DISGUSTING EVERY SINGLE TIME !
This location has a lack of efficiency and poor customer service. I placed an order for my team for delivery. It took 2 hours to arrive and two of the orders were bad. One of the orders said no bacon, as this team can 't have any pork. The receipt read no bacon, the label on the item said no bacon but their was bacon all over the food. The other had so much chiptole sauce on the sandwich that it was running out of the packaging. I called to request a correction. I was told they didn 't have any drivers to return. They then said they would see if I qualified for a reimbursement and told me I would be in touch. Really? So, when I finally had time to go to location myself with the food in hand and pointed out the problem, the manager says, okay, we will fix it but it will be awhile. At this point it was already 4 hours later. I waited and waited and waited, they kept saying he 's making it now. Their were so many customers their with incorrect orders. I finally was able to get the manager to refund my money and had to go elsewhere for lunch.
If I could give zero stars I would ...A friend and I walked in this morning..siad hello to a young man who was on a computer and who clearly worked there, and he didn't speak, so we stood at the counter waiting and waiting to be helped, he walks behind the counter, still never said anything, then two female employees walked back n forth and never said a word, no hello no nothing! We must've been invisible! So we walked out. I will not spend my money at an establishment that doesn't have good customer service. No excuses. I do not recommend going to this location.
