Bidrage med feedbackLost the wow! once in a time a man could surprise his family with boston market and be crowned the best father/man in the world. that ended today with a very moderate meal from the Boston market. admitted, it was my first time ever since the pandemic. I ordered ahead and everything was hot and ready, but the hawn was simply not so juicy and tasteful, the mac and cheese was just not so cheesy, and the creamy spinat was simply not so creamy and seemed to have no garlic. It was just okay. they had no cranberry sauce in the load. no longer was the Boston market the Olympic winner of takeouts, while it was not terrible, it was regulated to a high school track and field winner so to speak. Maybe this situation was just short staff because the dining room was closed and maybe they did their best and that was hot again I would point out. but my disappointment was only so much that it led me to review this lengthy one, and I will probably not give them another attempt.
I hate leaving a 3 but the service has declined here. If it weren't for Augustine, I would never return. I know he's had trouble keeping good employees. I usually order a whole chicken all white every 1-2 weeks. The last 2 times I ordered them through Door Dash and both times received just a whole chicken cut in quarters. I paid extra to the tune of $17, in order to get 4 breasts. The receipt on the bag was correct both times but the orders weren't. Please pay better attention to third party orders. There is no excuse for this to happen twice in 3 weeks. I completed the survey like I always do. The 1st time I didn't request anyone contact me but I did on the 2nd one. I never heard from anyone. Door Dash made it right, so that wasn't why I wanted a call but someone needs to address these issues to get this location back on track.
Great customer service at this location! The gentleman who served us was helpful and friendly. He made great recommendations. We are originally from Maryland and we do not care for Boston Market restaurants in Maryland, but we were given a gift card so we thought we’d take a chance at the Raleigh Boston Market. The food was great!
I had a really weird interaction with an employee named Jacqueline at the drive thru window. Everything seems fine until she accused me of aggressively taking my credit back after see ran the card. I asked her if she was kidding and assured her I had no intention of anything but taking what she was handing me. She then lamented about how they were short staffed. Finally, I had to ask her to please hand me my food, which she was annoyed to do. I told her everything was fine, I was not there to make her life difficult. Needless to say, I won’t be going back again. Just weird.
Why Boston Market? Why?I don’t live near Boston Market so whenever I come up to Raleigh I always stop at the one here. It’s been a while since I’ve been here but when I arrived, to my surprise, they no longer serve turkey. Just say I was disappointed would be an understatement. So I got some of the rotisserie chicken and while it was OK, the sides were absolutely unflavorful pieces of vegetable matter.I got the rice and the potatoes; and they both tasted like prison food. I will say this though, the service was fantastic. 40$ for 3 people to get this food was 20 bucks too much. 1 star for the service.
